    As a European, Europe is just not a spacefaring continent, let’s be honest. We contribute a lot to science, but without US and Russia we’d barely get to space. At least the way it’s currently organized and funded. The launch cadence of Ariane rockets vs Soyuz, Falcon is just not comparable

      Europe is just not a spacefaring continent…without…Russia

      I mean, most of Russia’s population is in the continent of Europe, even if launches tend to happen in Asia.
