Man…I grew up with my grandparents having a waffle iron. Sometimes when I’d stay with them we would have breakfast for dinner and my grandma would mix up batter from scratch. Being a little kid, the most amusing thing was that for some reason they kept the syrup in one of those mustard barrels.
Oh yeah, I have a toddler, so those aren’t from scratch. But the waffle is. I love that little waffle iron!
