1962 purple Beetle. Was my first car, and the independence it gave me! Many things I could fix on it myself, it was a great learning period of life. It was off the road for repairs more than it was on.
My current car is a VF SS wagon. I love it and its one of my dream cars. I will keep it till I die, but I even have to take it to my mechanic to change a headlight globe!
I agree with you on the white, but you know it would be a lot of fun to drive. Maybe not as much fun to insure (they’re getting pinched alot atm) and keeping the fuel tank full. But if I had the means, I’d buy mine again because they’re the last of a drivers car, if you know what I mean.

Fellow wagoneer 🤙
One of the best looking cars around imo.
I discovered a low km Walkinshaw for sale in NSW for 70k. Very tempting. Colour is shit but still. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/holden-special-vehicles/clubsport/r8-tourer-badge/

That’s wicked fun!! What a cool car to learn on! The VF SS’s are beasts!
She goes alright, but I usually drive like a grandma!
