Thanks for this - a really, really interesting view of plate techtonics… it’s rather interesting to see the massive mountains that have become the scottish highlands, old and worn now, and how they also create the (rather more sizeable now) canadian rockies… that ‘gash’ across scotland is actually multiple plates meeting and rubbing together. Fascinating.
