I don’t understand how Hungary and Slovakia can continue to vote to weaken Ukraine while also depending on Ukraine to transport Russian gas to Hungary and Slovakia.
Our esteemed leaders have Daddy Vladdy’s hand up their buttholes. Hungary is completely reliant on fuel (both hydrocarbons and nuclear) imported from east, and Orbán is not willing to humble himself and ask the west for the same because he’d have to make concessions. The situation is fucked from both end, and the people are going to pay for it.
They’ve had a couple years to find an alternative and stop funding the terrorists in the Kremlin.
I understand why Hungary does it (Orban idolizes Putin). I do not know why Slovakia does it.
Fico didn’t expect to get this deal. Didn’t he just recently say that Ukraine will get into NATO only over his dead body? There is no way he thought they would agree. He just wanted an excuse to go on national television to say, Ukraine bad, Putin good.
