I remember this day. I thought my Mac was borked. I couldn’t launch apps. They just bounced in the Dock. Learning that this was a software error because of an outage at Apple was frustrating. That they’ve backtracked on fixing this limitation is frustrating. A lot of things about Apple under Cook’s leadership has been frustrating.

I still prefer their ecosystem, but I’m hopeful for major changes when Tim retires. Put a computer-guy (or lady) in charge so we can have thoughtful, attentive software again. I doubt it’ll happen. We’ll see.
