    To be clear, in addition to what others said, ‘stand’ here refers to letting it cool off for 3 minutes or so before eating.

      I know when I carve turkey / chicken I need to let it cool slightly or it just crumbles. I figured the same was true of things like microwaveable lasagne, let it set or it’ll turn to slop

      I’d be curious to know how many people are using toothpicks to prop up their food for 3 minutes.

      But it says “stand”!
