Try not to get an RSII too am taking a break this league. But GL HF to all you exiles.
I’m a complete noob, but my strategy last league was Delve. It’s always Delve since I find that most enjoyable. I also craft flasks, which tend to take a couple of choas worth of orbs of alteration to make a T1/T2 roll flask that sells for 50c to 100c. I’m still amazed that worked so well, but people seem to be buying at that price. That funded most of my build.
Flask crafting is one of those things one can do as a scrub that makes lots of money thanks to how wealthy Mageblood users are. To people who are generating 8 div an hour, paying 100c to avoid a 20 minute task makes sense.
To avoid RSI I tend to play CoC. Also these days all the newheads play RF because the best build guides are for RF.
FWIW it was picking up loot piece by piece that gave me the RSI
Yeah that part is also rough. GGG has listened a little so there are far fewer individual currency drops now, most low tier currencies drop less often but in stacks of several units. They’re also bringing back Sanctum as a standalone mechanic which drops nothing for most of the run then drops all the loot you’ve earned throughout the run consolidated into fewer stacks at the end. Sanctums are tradeable so you could do only that.
There’s also ruthless mode which drops nothing at all most of the time.

I’ll be going with a Smite Champion for my league start, nothing crazy.
However, I have something pretty devious cooking for my second character. https://pobb.in/1XxseOXr592P Might be way too expensive to try for a while so I’ll be stuck on the league starter for a couple weeks. I suspect there’s going to be a lot of other people using Energy Blade + Spell Blade so a lot of the items will be in high demand.

Essences work great in low tier maps too. The tier of a map has no effect on what tiers of essences spawn or the distribution. If your build doesn’t have great single target you can use the new tormented spirit keystone to help take down the essence mobs.
