And why? After the worker told him he wasn’t allowed to wear his hat inside a polling place.
The Reason The election worker said that:
"Can you wear political clothing to vote in Texas?
No. Texas law prohibits “electioneers for and against any candidate, measure, or political party.” “Electioneering” is defined as including “the posting, use, or distribution of political signs or literature.” This applies to voters, poll workers and loiterers during the voting period within 100 feet of a polling place."

One of my neighbors hasn’t talked to me since 2022 because she tried voting in a 'Let’s Go Brandon" shirt and I told her she needed to go change or go to the restroom and turn it inside out.
