For anybody who doesn’t understand why “stealing” shoes is necessary in the aftermath of massive flooding, learn about “trenchfoot”, and consider that floodwater is basically just sewage. Clean & dry footwear is genuinely very important.
Yep. You will get incredibly sick incredibly fast if you spend time in floodwater or the mud that some after. You should also wear a respirator if you’re near the mud after it dries.

Nah like even if we’re gonna do capitalism, theft does not exist after a natural disaster unless it’s like, from a person directly. Especially for necessities like shoes or food, but I don’t really give a fuck if people take iPhones or TVs either.
And anyone who tries to prevent someone from taking things from a business in a disaster zone deserves to be fucking shot.
