Case in Focus: The Second District Court of Appeal recently rejected the City of Los Angeles' bid to expedite a private housing project near the University of Southern California. The court agreed with neighborhood groups anticipating significant noise disruptions from the potential student residents, the same "People are Pollution" argument
That’s a horrible slogan, and I like college students a lot better than Karens, but I have to question this organization’s goals.
Population decline doesn’t seem like a bad thing to me. It will require some economic changes so that pension systems designed as pyramid schemes don’t collapse. Many of humanity’s problems centered around limited resources would be alleviated by simply having fewer people.
They would also be alleviated through an economic system based on the equitable division of resources according to human need instead of the exploitation of them according to personal gain. Scarcity is enforced artificially.
We throw away 50 percent of edible food, so how is it that the problem is too many people?
We have more empty homes than homeless, so how is it that the problem is too many people?
Population Decline doesn’t really matter, but the group’s goals?
If they were another right wing Great Replacement nonsense group
They would side with the Karens, complain about “cULtUrE”, and tell you to get married whenever you can afford it or not
So far, they aren’t and harshly critical of that stuff
