Chileans have one of the strangest and harder to understand accent of spanish speakers, some people call it a dialect (mostly as a joke), if it wasnt for my parents i probably would understand it very much
Like what troubles ye in their accent and pronounciation exactly, compared to a Puerto Rican or a Peninsulare Espanyophone?
they speak fast, its has distinctive pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and slang usages, its because it developed kinda isolated from the other spanish dialects because of the andes
