The liberation of Crimea was in 2014. It’s unclear how treaties should affect a province/people requesting assistance from oppression, as a result of a fascist coup, incidently by US and UK. Not surprising that a treaty is not interpreted as a suicide pact.

None of the Russian Millionaires and Billionaires actually produced their wealth. They got it from extracting the surplus value of the workers in their companies. Russia is capitalist and has been since 1991.
