@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social pretty sure I’m safer not buying any more Sony games and not uploading a scan of my id and/or selfie to them and a 3rd party agent they use for processing…
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social It’s obvious the overlay and trophies synchronization is a coverup for their DRM and anti-tamper. Last time I checked SDKs like that don’t need a rootkit.
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social I laugh out loud when they peddle this shit.
My character on GTA Online has been a woman (and often of colour) since forever, well before I moved from PS4 to PC.
I never got as many abusive text messages as I got on PS4. I figured I could act as a lightning rod (what caused me to play a black character in the first place) and report all the abuse, and a few weeks into it I got a message saying excessive reporting was grounds for a suspension. :blobcattableflip:
PSN is unsafe!
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social
nothing says safety like a Sony rootkit

If you believe that I have a nice and sturdy bridge to sell you@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social reject order, embrace chaos
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social safely…what a load of dogshit
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social I immediately imagined a modified screenshot of Zelda 1:
An old pixelized man (who looks like Hiroki Totoki) in a cave says:
“It’s dangerous to play alone! Take this.”
Instead of a sword, it’s a little box that says “DRM”
A pixelized version of Aloy is at the bottom, hesitating.
@gamingonlinux@mastodon.social guess the only thing that’ll stay safe because of this will be my account balance…
