It’s funny I love Nine Inch Nails but the song has always been grating and atonal to me.
The remix EP of this is good. Thanks to it, I discovered The Orb, Meat Beat Manifesto, and “Plug”. Regarding that last one, NIN had me listening to Luke Vibert and Aphex Twin way too long before I knew who they were.
You could also say it’s The Perfect [Gateway] Drug lol
