I feel for you that you make so much effort to get things going, but so many empty posts. I try to contribute but I stress myself out and can’t come up with anything. I still follow along and try each idea, though. Hopefully we get some good contributions and it all takes off!
Thanks for your response. I do this because songaweek really helped me get started with songwriting after years of trying and I want to give others that experience. I just kept putting too much pressure on myself to write a great song. I finally was able to get something done when I just let all that go. Most weeks I don’t really have a full song, but it’s enough to get something out there. Feel free to PM is you want to go deeper into the process.

This is my last day at home before I’ll be away for a bit (we’ll see if this is enough time to write a song!) but when I get back I plan to participate. Help you build the community a bit!
By the way, are there are any rules about other kinds of posts? There isn’t a “We are the Music Makers” kind of sub here and one like that would be really helpful.
For instance, I wrote a post about song writing with ADHD but have no where to put it because I don’t use reddit anymore!

There are a couple of lemmy communities that would be more appropriate for your AHHD post. There’s songwriting on lemmy.studio and we are the music makers on lemmy.world.
