Oh damn, I can’t imagine how rough it must have been in 2007, Linux has definitely came a very very long way. Props to you for sticking around through all the issues :)
From what I been hearing from people Apple is not that bad either, but personally it just confuses the hell out of me.
I don’t like Apple because it forces you to do things the way they think you should do things, rather than letting you customize to do the way you prefer (like UI things). But it does work well for software development, data crunching, interfacing with HPC and office tools, so 🤷🏻♀️
Yea thats the thing l love about Linux, it will let you do whatever you want no matter how stupid it is, just gotta type sudo :D
