so vault tracks, are they things that superfans would have heard of and know by name or reputation, or are they completely new to everyone as they are to me?
Uh kinda both I think. Some of them the mega Swifties have heard through bootlegs, some keep bootlegs in their normal rotation but for me it feels kind of… Dirty.
So for you and me these are all completely new tracks!
It feels kind of weird for me as well. I use Spotify and most of them are uploaded as podcasts which makes it extra inconvenient. I can put them on my regular playlists but because they are “podcasts” I can’t skip them if I’m not in the mood because they’ll only skip a few seconds at a time.
Some of them have been leaked in the past, but I think most of these ones are completely new in terms of what anyone would know. The title “Castles Crumbling” for example has been known for a long time, but as far as I know there has never been any audio leaked from that song.
