For whatever reason when I attempt to login on firefox or chrome from my iPhone 11, I get the infinite spinning circle. Anyone else experienced this?

Ive only seen this when your account is not yet activated. You dont get an error but just an endless spinning circle

I never checked to see if it was the issue cause I just joined another instance but I realized after the fact that the email to confirm my account ended up in spam.

Either that or that instance is just overloaded at the moment

Hey! Just to make sure it’s definitely a mobile issue, could you try opening a new incognito tab on your browser and logging in there? If that succeeds, then we’ll know it’s a mobile issue, but if it fails, then there might be something else going on.

Just confirmed logging into incognito is no issue, only happens on my mobile browser.

At the moment, I think the best course of action is to wait until 0.18 and try again then.

I know it kind of sucks, but the thing is that 0.18 will drastically change how the client and server communicate, and in theory should also fix displaying errors to users on failed logins - that way, we should at least have a specific error to go off when debugging further.

I had this issue when trying to sign up for an account, and it seemed to happen on other instances too.

My personal workaround was to sign up and verify email on desktop, then request the desktop site when logging in on mobile.
