I have no idea what the fuck’s going on most of the time unless I hear about it second hand.

  • I do not watch videos (I am a boomer)
  • I do not listen to podcasts (boomer)
  • I don’t use social media except hexbear/lemmy
  • not gonna read the paper or w/e (not that much of a boomer)
  • I only read WSJ/HuffPo/Politico/CNN whatever for the laughs every once in a while

Any good sites you go to for reputable news? Blogs that are not necessarily news but are maybe about the news are good too. Lately I’ve been reading a lot of Erin in the Morning, for example.

Bonus points if it has an RSS feed

    Russian telegram (Russian news and analysis)

    Private Weixin/QQ group chats (Chinese news and analysis beyond state censorship)

    Naked Capitalism (general finance/economics - the only website that Michael Hudson reads daily, and so I simply follow what he does)

    Status Coup (US labor news)

    That’s probably enough material for the day. For everything else, I rely on the Hexbear news megathread.
