I hope we never find out if you’re right. The US has a cutting-edge, experienced military and would have many allies if it fought China, but China has massive industrial capacity and 4x the population. Also, China would be fighting right off it’s coast.
To be, completely fair, they are not at threat at all.
A war with Taiwan means a war with the United States, and that’s a war China knows it can’t win.
