Never said that this issue is one of the ones they are equally bad at. It’s just a very clear indication that republican politicians are only using guns as a wedge issue. When it actually comes down to their own safety, they don’t want anything to do with an event where there are loads of white men with guns.
So to use “The DNC has a long history of disarming us, bit by bit” just comes across silly when your own representatives clearly don’t hold your values, and are only holding up a facade.
Because it’s silly for the party of guns to ban guns while saying the other side will ban guns.
And you’re intentionally ignorant if you genuinely see this as evidence that both parties are equally bad
