If anyone still wants to use Reddit Sync there was a post up on the Reddit page for the Revanced patch. In case you might want to stick to Sync till the Lemmy app launches.

I tried it and it worked. Note: It only works on the regular Sync app and not Sync pro. I tried.

Also just note the API has now been restricted and removed access to NSFW content, so you’ll only get a partial amount of content. I believe this also restricts spoiler tagged post as it uses the same flag (might be wrong on that)
So stupid, making people pay for less?
Why would anyone want to stay on reddit until sync for lemmy launch? How do they even connect? Sync for lemmy is just a client app, it won’t change the content, posts or views You say it like it’s going to change lemmy completely lol
I guess I worded it weird.
But some people might still want the ‘Sync’ experience first and foremost. And since Lemmy’s version isn’t there, this is a workaround for Reddit at least till it gets ready.
Thank you for the time to put the guide here and help people. I’m still not sure how this will help since I assume that whoever moved to lemmy don’t want to assist reddit by visiting it. But nonetheless it’s great that we as a community in lemmy starting to share knowledge, so thank you for that
