Unlike other war criminals from Richard Nixon to George W. Bush, Henry Kissinger’s reputation has never received public rehabilitation. He hasn’t needed it — despite his murderous rap sheet, the media and political establishment has always fawned over him.
Kissinger is becoming a meme. For sure he is bad. He is very bad. But let’s not make him a scapegoat.
All the American elite was (and is) corrupt and they are war criminals. Kissinger, sure, but the Clintons (both) the Bush (both), Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell etc etc - they are AS guilty as Kissinger.
Focus on the system, not only the names.
