    I was going to ask: do you think white moderates are willing to learn yet? But just ten minutes after you posted and half an hour before I got here, there’s a what I’ll assume to be a white moderate saying that you’ve misunderstood King. jfc it don’t stop lol.

      I genuinely don’t believe they ever will be. Pessimistic take, and just shy of separatist? Maybe. But I genuinely don’t believe they’ll ever learn, and as a result, I don’t believe they’ll ever be safe for us.

        I’m more or less in agreement with you.

        The moment they’re willing to learn is the moment they’re not a liberal. For as long as they claim to be or are in fact a liberal, they either cannot know what the world is like or they know and don’t care. Those in the latter category are dangerous, period. Those in the former category, however well meaning they might be, are dangerous until they’re willing to accept that they cannot remain a liberal and be, as you put it, considered safe.
