I’ve got a quiet week ahead (as I’m currently unemployed) and will be doing a lot of reading. For fun, I’m reading Stephen King’s The Stand, and I’m going to reread Heschel’s The Sabbath starting tomorrow.
How about you?
We have a new baby at the house, so I’ll be spending the week caring for her. That will include after-feeding late-night scrolling through Lemmy like I’m doing now. :)
I’ve read - and loved - the Dark Tower series, but I haven’t read any other King.
I hadn’t heard of The Sabbath by Heschel, so I looked it up. I’ll have to check out Heschel. I could do with some inspiration.
Both books I mentioned are great. The Stand is very long though. The Sabbath is very short.
