    bnn.network is not reputable.

    Macron isn’t going to BRICS.

This bnn.network are running off the BNN Bloomberg a Canadian media group but the website is different.

Western media would jump all over Macron for doing this and likely cause dissension in Brussels.

If Macron did this, then Paris’s leadership role of the EU would be in question and Berlin would challenge Macron and oust the French-domaniance that has occurred since Merkel left.

From the Russian perspective it’d be great if western outlets carried this story and there is no way that DW and Speigel wouldn’t carry it

All in all, it is silly angle to drive a disinformation campaign and at best bnn.network has jumped the gun allowing for a counter-narrative to form.

France would be stupid not to engage with the BRICS. That doesn’t mean they are turning their backs on their current trading partners.

France shouldn’t be in a position to choose between the BRICS and its current trading partners. The fact that it likely will shows how messed up US led world order is. China has never forced countries to choose which bloc to trade with, but US constantly insists on bloc discipline. I think we’re now hitting the point where US simply doesn’t have enough to offer in order to maintain this discipline.
