This is the fun the Imagineers have to face during planning! What counts as a weenie to all? MK, EP, and AK have centrally located weenies that are just massive and really grab you.
Maybe an AT-AT Walker for the Star Wars fans among us?
I’m wondering if they just came up with a park layout that doesn’t lend itself to a Weenie. I think the weenie needs to come first, and then the design of the rest of the park has to respect the weenie.
MK has the legendary hub layout which draws you back to the castle.
HS feels like it just evolved into what it is. It started with a theme, but it’s become just a place where they put stuff.
Don’t think I don’t love it, because I do. However, when you look at the map, you don’t see the same unifying concept holding it together. It feels unplanned when compared to the others.

Epcot doesn’t do the Hub, but it still has a layout that utilizes spaceship earth for navigation.

AK returns to a hub layout but using less formal meandering paths. However it still has the Tree of Life at the center.
