It’s the last few days of #RomanceAwarenessMonth and on day 28, I would like to give a shout out to Courtney Milan and her #BrothersSinister series. I don’t read #HistoricalRomance on a regular basis, but this series was compelling and drew me in. The final novella, “Talk Sweetly to Me” is one of my favourite short stories. Ms Milan explores the diversity of the era, and backs it up with research.
I hope to read Lorraine Heath and Mimi Matthews next.

@romancelandia @romancebooks @Diva007 I have The Brothers Sinister series downloaded along with a few other Courtney Milan books. I also have several Lorraine Heath books downloaded. They sound like interesting reads.

I’ve only read 0.5, 1, and 1.5 of the series so far, but I’m really enjoying it! It’s definitely one I want to get back to.I don’t read a lot of historical either, I usually have to listen on audiobook b/c the language trips me up. But I have enjoyed some Lisa Kleypas and Tessa Dare as well so far! Basically if Mary Jane Wells narrates, I’m in.
I recommend checking out the Destiny series by Beverly Jenkins if you haven’t already!
@Diva007 @romancelandia @romancebooks @lenoreo I have read and enjoyed some Lisa Kleypas and Tessa Dare books and look forward to reading more from both of these authors. I read and liked the first book in the Destiny series. I have a lot of Beverly Jenkins audiobooks downloaded.
@MichiganPal I will definitely read more historical romances! The authors you have mentioned are highly rated. Thank you for replying. @romancelandia
