CO has stated there won’t be bicycles on release of CS2. Personally, I’m properly disappointed in that decision. What are your thoughts?

That probbaly means it’s gonna be a DLC.

On the (hopefully) positive side: that might mean they put a lot of effort into the bike AI and biking networks. Maybe even some kind of a “light traffic” DLC which would contain bikes, e-scooters, etc?

That would be a nice consolation prize for sure. I wonder what they’re going to come up with. If the dev diaries have anything to say about the quality of the game, then I’m really excited!

Wish this was coming as the first DLC. As a cyclist I always over build bike lanes roads and paths. Maybe there will be protected lanes and transit corridors with tram/bike/ped access only?

If they offer huge improvements over existing bikes in CS1, I’m all for a CS2 bike DLC

Are they doing to patch them in?

Given that there are major real world cities with over 25% of all trips in the city being done by bike, it’s a huge part of modern city landscapes. Leaving bikes out is a huge hole in how modern cities are designed.

Sure hope they will! The only question is when and for how much €€€.

That’s a bummer. It’s almost certainly being cut for DLC content. I just hope they have a good value proposition bc we could probably just mod them in with bike paths as street modules otherwise
