Reckless driving isn’t anything new in Milwaukee.
Ive been really thrilled with what Wisdot & the city came up with for national ave. Hopefully they can do something similar here

I think the next thing is to somehow pressure WisDOT into narrowing Capitol Drive before State Trunk Highway 190 is beyond its design lifespan.
Yeah, traffic circles could be really helpful too.
Traffic circles would have several advantages:
- Traffic circles don’t use electricity like traffic lights do.
- Traffic circles break up traffic instead of straight shots that reckless drivers can use to speed.
- Traffic circles have an area in the middle that can be used for plants and flowers.
@hukaulaba as someone who used to commute from Shorewood to Brookfield everyday on Capitol, I think narrowing would be a great start
