Yeah I never really respected anarchists even when I was a baby leftist. Not only do they give off too much LARP vibes, the movement is also non existent in Malaysia. And I really only found about their existence on Twitter (of course I did).

… like sure? Very relevant to the conditions that the proletariat faces in Southeast Asia I think. Definitely in contention to what is already the abysmal state of left politics here.
Also this authoritarianism ”critique” just falls in line with what the ultra-reactionary right says with the whole “China is Communist and is genociding muslims!!!” thing.
I can’t even imagine the material conditions that would sustain an Anarchist revolution in SEA let alone here. Unless they setup a settler colony on an island I guess lol.
