I saw a story in the Bee the other day that Fixins Soul Kitchen was top rated on Yelp. Haven’t been, and the fact that it’s owned by Kevin Johnson gives me pause at going, but it’s allegedly rated well.
Fixins is alright; we live less than a mile away. I’d rather settle for Von’s honestly. I saw Hawk’s has Fried Chicken Mondays but they wanted $65 for the family meal :/
The kind you’re mom makes at home. Lol not sure tho but it does suck that South is gone.
