I know this isn’t about lemm.ee specifically but I figured this was a good place to ask.
I always found it weird - even on reddit - that users could upvote and downvote themselves. Why not just have posts start at 0 votes?

They say 1 is the loneliest number but personally I think zero is lonelier 🤷🏻♂️
