I know they look a bit goofy, but the wide toe box just feels great. Do you guys have some outfit suggestions for this fall?

First of all, these are not really “oxfords,” they’re derbies. That may just sound like semantics, but… They’re not really hitting “dress shoe,” they’re a bit of a cross between casual dress shoe, boat shoe, and sneaker. So, if I had to wear these for comfort purposes… I’d treat them fairly casually. Mid-wash jeans, a flannel or a good sweater. Olive chinos or fatigues. Something like that.

Ah they called it oxford in their description. Like your suggestion of a nice casual combination.

yeah, a lot of companies will call every “dress shoe” an oxford, which is wrong, but this is not really even a dress shoe.

Yeah its more of a casual leather shoe. Don’t know why its advertised as dress shoe, but it fits what I wanted for a casual feel good footwear :-).

In theory I would say, that the form of the toe box is such an integral part of shoe design, that I would say all of them are their own thing. Even tough they are pretty cool.
