This is the shitposting thread for the week of September 3-9!
Talk about your shitposting journey here!
Health is of paramount importance: we can’t struggle, do praxis, act in solidarity, read theory or even post if we’re unhealthy.
But how can we know we’re healthy?
We can rely on doctors, but even if a bear has the resources and opportunity to see the doctor they might not be able to do so as often as they worry about their health.
We can rely on how we feel, but just like our pets can conceal pain from us, our feelings aren’t always the best indicator of what’s going on inside us.
We could just go by what we put in our bodies, but that relies on the assumption that we’re healthy and has no diagnostic value.
To borrow a car metaphor: we have to look at the exhaust gasses and used motor oil and transmission fluids to have a clear picture of what’s going on inside the sealed engine of our bodies!
I’m eating Raisin Bran 3-4 times a week to maintain a safe, healthy diet and keep myself regular!
Some resources:
Bristol stool scale - use to judge the amount of time food is staying in your digestive system. Most bears will want a 3 or 4.
