    Yeah people will downvote random shit for no reason.

    They often downvote because they don’t agree/can’t be fucked/don’t relate rather than upvoting the content/effort or just moving on. It’s kinda dumb, but people are like that.

        i agree: i really get downvoted for random stuff, but i always upvote responses to spread engagement…my app counts internet points but idc about those

      If it’s not what they think should be in the community threads, downvotes will happen even on useful stuff (sometimes).
