So they WERE able to figure out how to stabilize the game, they just wanted to launch early to poorer reviews. Good choice.

I mean, I get that if they launched this week with this update they’d be right up against Starfield and BG3. But the game is a solid game. And it’s fun. And I enjoyed it. The biggest gripes anyone had were about these visuals. If they had just fixed this before launch I wonder how much better it’d have been reviewed.

To the bean counters I guess it doesn’t matter. They still sold a lot. But still.

It’s on sale for $50 right now, should I pick it up? I loved the first but was waiting for this one to get patched up first and go on sale, seems this is my chance unless I should keep waiting for 40 or lower….

Edit: I got it, and WOW. I’m floored, the raytraced graphics are incredible and with the really high quality motion blur and movie like nature of the game I don’t mind 30fps at all. Very smooth. No tearing, I can confirm I see double frame rates/lfc for vrr in quality mode on my C2. No issues so far! I’m having so much fun! Thanks for the recommendations!

I’m with the other poster. If you liked the first, then this one is a gigantic improvement over it. I enjoyed the first and loved this.

Havent played the game (yet) so I cant comment on quality but price-wise gamefly has had it for $40 a few times and comes in great condition. Otherwise I think it will be in that $35-40 range come black friday.

So excited to see this finally improved! I have a few more games to beat before I actually buy it, but it looks like the next sale I’ll have to pick this up!
