One from the Ukraine, all my support to these guys. Beautiful album, incredibly weird and unusual for black metal because of all the jazzy elements. Not many metal albums that include a saxophon in such a perfect and dystopian way.

      Yeah for me this is the band which proofed that a saxophone can work with metal :)

        do you know any other similar bands? couple dark jazz projects give me the same vibe minus the metal like autoisolation, lowering and the kilimanjaro darkjazz ensemble

          I wouldn’t be able to mention any band sounding remotely similar to them. I don’t even have many records with saxophone sounds, “Ulver - Perdition City” comes to my mind as an album with some saxophone bits, but it’s far away from White Ward.
