Why do they need to go to Europe first to get to Bali? Not every begpacker is American. Most begpackers on Bali are probably Aussies
Plenty of places you can go begpacking without having to take a single plane… Also not every begpackers need to take a plane to Europe.
It’s cheaper to get a train from London to Zimbabwe and then just cross the border over to Bali.
