I am interested to see your opinion on the recently launched Threads from meta, specially around possible federation/defederation in the future
Some instance owners are open to federation, some takes wait and see approach, while some will block them outright as seen on https://fedipact.online/
you are not me and your experiences will vary but i didn’t get out of that hypercapitalist hellscape of facebook just so that facebook comes to a little place not yet squeezed dry of value by musks and thiels of this world. i see no point in federating with them in first place, so blocking them from get go seems to be the better way
