    So, uh yesterday was reported by Yahoo! Australia to be the world’s hottest day of all time.

    Friederike Otto, a German climate scientist based in Britain, was quoted (in the above news article) to say that this is a “death sentence for people and ecosystems”, and that we should expect more records to be broken in the coming months/years, in a negative way.

    Well, shit. Better save up for the a/c and fans people. Hotter days lie ahead.

        Wala man lang safety net of some sort. Fucked either way.

        I fear that we may have yet to see the worst in people if things further go south, though I hope it reveals more of the best of the human race.

      A not so fun fact: cities may experience the Urban Heat Island effect and one of the factors is the reliance on air conditioners.
