@alternativenation a friend of mine introduced me to #Portishead when they were still active, and it was very different to music either of us usually listened to at that time. I still really like them.

Portishead is amazing and even bands long dead can bring joy as long as we have access to their work!
@ren Absolutely. Portishead was the only Triphop band I listened to until relatively recently, but they have led me on to #MazzyStar and #MassiveAttack.
What I usually listened to was classics like #BobDylan, #SimonAndGarfunkel, #TheBand etc. Also lots and lots of #REM and #ToriAmos (who made me discover #KateBush)But hey, I love #JohannSebastianBach and #Allegri too. 😁
