I’m already seeing a small but distressing increase in behaviors that are frankly embarrassing.

There’s no need to make what seems like an extra effort to treat each other poorly. Being “casually” antagonistic, dismissive, and instigatory for its own sake is miserably sad.

We don’t have to migrate the crummy reddit culture, too. Let’s leave it back on the dumpster fire?

    Definitely agree, I think we can keep it positive! I’ve mainly been seeing a whole lot better of a culture here so far. I think if we just call out when people are being unpleasant and moderate the community it will stay that way. This place will be better than reddit in every way!

    Easier said than done. The best you can do is try to control your community and make sure they don’t act out. Observe and know what places to avoid. Cultivate a positive atmosphere and positive engagement.
