The report said that a couple with two children would require at least S$6,693 to afford a basic standard of living in Singapore. Is this realistic?

    That sounds about right. I like how they’ve defined basic living as living, vs survival on necessities.

    And as expected the government doesn’t agree. If you’ve seen their approach to social services, you’ll understand that at least, they’re consistent.

      I’ve not seen their approach and i hope i never see that in my lifetime.
