    I’m surprise they think they can get the economics to work. It basically means borrowing a shit load of money that is only going to start seeing returns in 15 years, and is, under current conditions probably not going to break even for another 15.

    All the while the alternatives are getting cheaper and cheaper every year.

    My prediction is that they postpone the dates a few times as they struggle to fund them and then the plan vanishes, never to be heard from again.

      They probably spent too much time at the reddit comments section with all the experts advocating for “green” nuclear. That reality distortion field is strong

      But not before a bunch of their cronies get rich on government pork and they get a shitload of kickbacks. All those nuke programs are snake oil at this point.
