I would love Ukraine to win this, i doubt it will really caused big losses economically, but the political fallout could be fun, especially if EU would join in the fray.

      Hungary is pro Russia anyways.

And the EU actually researched what impact the grain transport had on the economy. And the result was that it had no impact at all since most of it gets exported anyways. So the EU ended the import bans, but Poland, Hungary and Slovakia didn’t care and made their own import bans (which is against the EU regulations, but they don’t care anyways).

Poland knows this as well. But in 3 weeks is an election and PiS needs the support of the farmers and populism works.

Breaking news: Poland makes a pro gamer move and declares war on Ukraine, retakes Lwow.

Please no. Out of all stupid ideas possible for Poland this is second dumbest (after attacking Russia). Imagine willingly conquering region full of militant armed nazis who hate your ethnicity with a passion.

I don’t know if it’s a rumour. But it’d be pretty funny if it happened, wouldn’t it?

Idk, would it? It would place a NATO member military within direct engagement proximity of Russia. A member that is arguably more rabidly russophobic than their masters, with imperial ambitions of its own.

Funny maybe. Like getting hanged a second time after the rope broke

It’d be “pretty funny” because of how much of an unrealistic scenario it is. Ukraine already launched a missile into Poland killing one Polish national and Poland replied by calling it “just an accident”. There is no way Poland ever attacks Ukraine, much less to retake Lviv. That would be some Paradox Games-tier of fantasy politics.

Surprised they haven’t drafted the lawyers yet.

Or maybe Zelensky will just be standing in.

Poland was just so vocal about support for Ukraine since it made Germany look bad.
