The drake companion of a drakewarden ranger acts immediately after the ranger. The ranger needs to use their bonus action to command the drake, else it defaults to the dodge action.

I want to know if it’s possible for the ranger to ready an attack, commanding the drakewarden to use the help action against an enemy. The rangers attack triggers on the drakes action, giving the ranger advantage on the attack.

    I believe it’s like any other beast companion/familiar and so it can take the help action. Guess it’s down to the DM deciding if it’s allowed.

      Im Not whether im correct about this but i think RAW wildshaped Druids can also not use the help Action since the wildshaped statblock does Not list Help as an Action the animal can Do
