I really need to get on with Trails in the Sky SC. I have been waiting in the hope it will be announced for modern consoles, but I guess I should just buy it on Steam (or maybe Vita)

The first two games in this huge series were some of my favorites. But I had to leave as they got too wrapped up in labyrinthine villain plots, blue-hair-sword-boy harems, and poor writing of female characters.
That’s not to say there’s not a lot to love, though. I just can’t imagine reentering at this point unless they’ve gone through a big reset of both their writing approach and their character development.
