My main account is on Lemmy.World, but suddenly every time I try to go to the main page I get redirected to a single frame of a video with some guy subtitled to say something unpleasant about children. I also got sent to lemon party once.
Lemm.ee is working fine, so I’m guessing it’s not a problem on my end. The last thing I saw/clicked on before this behavior was what looked like an official post about threads.net being whitelisted, which makes it tempting to speculate about overzealous Lemmy users hacking the site as a form of protest. No idea if that’s actually the case, though.

Oh wow I just tried loading the site and saw that it sort of glitched out and took me to a video player page but no video loaded, just the player. Looks like they got hacked.
Oh, nevermind. Found my answer here, looks like they did get compromised: https://lemm.ee/post/932053
Seems like the post about Threads might have come from the compromised admin account, so it probably doesn’t mean anything.
